Wedding Videos | Serving Moncton, Miramichi, Bathurst …

A Wedding Day Documentary

Unlike the shaky video your Uncle Ed took at your graduation, or the clips of the soccer game you captured with your phone and uploaded to youtube, the video chronicle you will get from me of your wedding day will be something you will want to keep forever, and share with everyone. What sets my videos apart from others is the quality content, the editing, and the sound quality.

Just like my approach to photography, I like to get to know the couples and their families. It makes it easier to find out what’s important to them, and what are the significant moments during the day that shouldn’t be missed. I like to do short interviews with the bride and groom separately, and with the bridal party and families to add some personal content to the production.

The equipment I use

HDR-FX1_IMI use 2 types of cameras and mics to make sure I get all the shots from all the angles.  Primarily I use a Sony HDR-FX1 wih Sennheiser wireless mics.  This camera has exceptional rsolution and low light capabilities.  The mics have great range and wonderful sound.  Great sound makes for great videos.

My secondary cameras are Sony HDR-UX1 High-Definition camcorders. I also have 2 Sony wireless microphones with Bluetooth technology. These tiny mics can be pinned to the Minister’s robe, hidden in the bride’s bouquet, or placed at the podium at the reception. They are very sensitive, and allow me to keep my distance so I am not nuisance or a distraction at the service or the reception. I also bring along a camera and take enough photos for the DVD covers and labels, for the couples’ web page, and for titles on the DVD. If you book both photography and video, I bring along an assistant that works with me to make sure we get all the video and pictures we need.
