Many people hire me because of the candid, emotional nature of my pictures — I am proud of that. I am a storyteller at heart, and want my pictures to be an accurate depiction of the day and of the couple’s experience. I want their personalities to shine through. I want the photography techniques I use to be as genuine as the emotion in my photos. I look for the most creative lighting, and recommend locations and situations to my clients that will produce the best results. I don’t use cheesy effects and filters, and I resist cliche. Any retouching will be subtle, and will not overshadow the true emotion of the photos. I take a lot of pride in my work, and I think it shows.
